Improved Helicopter Simulation Models
This project focuses on the development and testing of improved helicopter simulation models, for outside of the envelope flight maneuvers and other conditions representative of Loss Of Control (LOC) encounters for rotorcraft.
Research activities include:
- Models: Developing new mathematical computational aerodynamic models of rotorcraft conditions
- Simulators: Integrating new models for LOC conditions into existing and new simulators
